Galaxy 7 My brother who lives in Guyana called me and said: “could you please buy me a phone Aunty Radhika is going to give you the money.” I said to my brother I have a broken phone and I will fix it for you. I went downtown to a phone shop. I asked the sale's person to fix the screen; he said to me “to fixed the screen it will cost you $280.00” I was like wow. How much for a screen protector? “he said $25.00” I asked how much to unlock the phone he said $100.00. I was like WHAT. He then said to me “why don’t you purchase a new phone?” at the same time, like I wasn’t thinking because I was running from work to pick my son up from school and trying to fix the phone. It was so too much to get done and prepare for church. I told the salesperson, please fixed the phone screen and gave me the screen protector and how much is that? “he said $338.00”. "8 Wounded in shootings over 8 hours in Chicago" http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-chicago-violence-shootings-20180829-story.html# The Chicago Tribune wrote this article; that eight people were wounded in Chicago shooting which happen between 2:40 PM to 10:15 PM on August 29, 2018. It looks like these shooters did not have an age group or gender they were targeting. They shoot seven males and one female. Between the ages of 18 to 39 years old. The individuals that got shot is in stable conditions. I want to conclude that these shoots do not look like experienced shooters, or they wanted to send a message to the authorities. These gunmen in Chicago do not fear authority as well, because they are showing that they can operate in daylight or any day, and time and no one can stop them. When shooting like these happen, I believed that there should be eyes on the street. In New York, we have traffic cam that picks up any activities that are happ

Hi, I am Marie Doman. I was born in Guyana. I have four siblings. My dad past away by committed suicide and my mom now lives with me here in the USA. I accepted Jesus since I was about eight years old and never regret giving him my life. He did not only save me, but my two sisters and one brother are serving the Lord except for my youngest brother who is not saved but calls himself a Christian. I hope and pray he will come to the Lord very soon. I am married, and we have two sons. Some of the things I did when I was a child is to ride bikes, to play in the streets and visit the farms. The sugar estates own the village where I used to live, and they had concrete roads. The street wasn't a busy one, and that's what makes it easier for us to ride our bikes. Everyone in the village used to live like families and there weren't strangers around. The people in my town do more walking or riding bikes than driving. My country is a tropical one, and it's always hot. As

When I was in HIMTC, I had the opportunity to work on the farm, kitchen, compound and also, in constructions doing the painting. I learned to paint, and I was very good at giving estimates on how much paint and all the other material that needed to put a room together. After I finished my training, I painted part of my grandmother’s house. My uncle was very proud of me and what I could do. Before I went into training in HIMTC, I had just started a relationship with
